Making the Move

I can remember the exact moment I decided to move to Paris. Hard to believe it was only a few short weeks ago. I was sitting through a job review with my then-boss, a handsome, ambitious senior manager newly transferred from the Southern headquarters.

Living in Paris: on a budget

When you are visiting Paris for, say a week or two, it's most likely your days may be spent gazing at the Mona Lisa and your nights wallowing leisurely along the Seine. That's a great fantasy that, unfortunately ends the minute you become a resident. But no one's complaining.

The Third Fire

It was 2:30 am and, having mistaken her high pitch for ordinary communication, I ignored her, and pulled my American blanket over my American head and rolled over on my tiny clic clac.
