Older women should also tread lightly on these sites, as statistics prove that the young and single men here average from
ages 18 to 25 or younger, and most of these school boys are looking for older
women at least 6 years their senior. Sounds like feminists revenge, but when
polled for their interest in older women, an overwhelming majority of these
young men claim a “wish to learn and gain more experience from Mesdames”. Rarely
is a lasting, loving relationship mentioned as their goal. They want to learn
from your experiences, then go back to women their own age and be fabulous lovers.
Because women are so popular on these sites, it’s easy to sign on and chat live with other members. It can feel like a good
way to get to know the person a bit before deciding if you want to meet with
him or her. Not to mention, a great way to improve with writing French! But again,
a word of warning, as you could end up becoming involved with someone with
mental problems. Their typical profile of someone like that is a man who cannot
communicate with women “in real life”. Often such a man can be extremely
outspoken and daring while hiding behind the computer screen, but in reality, he
is timid and not really serious about starting a relationship. Or, he is
emotionally and physically violent and his attachment to you is unnatural. The
best advice is to trust your gut and not to rush. The longer you talk the more
you’ll learn.
And in the end, it’s not all bad news. The fact is there are several men frequenting such sites that both enjoy sex and are
serious about finding the woman of their dreams. They are looking for someone
who shares their same passions and something unique about these sites is that
everyone can talk virtually about any topic, from traveling and cooking to
raising children and making love.
Still, French men are funny sometimes—if a woman accepts to meet them easily they will think that she is a hooker, but if
she doesn’t accept to meet with them, then they think that she is strange and
playing games. Just another bump in the land of sex without limitations, but if
you’re serious about love, then it’s up to you to make it work. Or, you could
just meet the old fashioned way; in a nice café, with jazz music and friends.
